Our gentle herd of more than 25 horses is cared for year-round by Nancy Duell, our dedicated Stable Manager. Nancy has directed Camp Ernst's Western Ranch program since 1988. She is assisted by a staff with a passion for horses and a love for children. All campers at Camp Ernst have the opportunity to ride a horse.

For an additional $80, campers ages 9-15 can adopt a horse for a week and take daily trail rides. These "Ranch Campers" still have the opportunity to participate in all other programs.
