Almost everyone who drives along Camp Ernst Road wants to know why there are two giant, electric-blue trees on our Lakefront.

These blue phenomena are actually art pieces built by the campers participating in YMCA Camp Ernst's Fine Arts program.

Campers of all ages helped paint these trees, a task which inevitably required Nate the Visual Arts Leader to rent a cherry picker!
